For you people who think Taylor will beat Hopkins

I like taylor and everythin but u cant compare him to hopkins

i think taylor could've knocked out joppy but he didnt

anybody remember what hopkins did to Joppy? ****ed him UP!

and Hopkins beat up a younger joppy

Hopkins is to smart for Taylor

He will destroy him tha way he dominated Joppy, Trinidad, De La Hoya, Robert Allen

Truth is spoken. Taylor needs to beat someone who isn`t a fight away from retirement to be mentioned in the same division as Hopkins, he hasn`t proven anyting tht would suggest he could last the distnce with Nard!

I listened to my dad's buddies talk **** about a guy over 40 years ago and the memories always come back when I read this crap or hear people talking down J.T.
Dad's pals were sure that they were right too. This kid is unproven they'd say! He hasn't been tested and when he is he'll fall like a ton of bricks!
Within five years he will be completely forgotten!
And the NERVE of him changing his name!
If his daddy says his name is Clay, that's what his damned name IS!!!

I see J.T. beating Hopkins to the punch and keeping him on the outside with his jab so that B.Hop can't use his roughhouse game on him. Hopkins is 40 years old and, like it or not, that takes a toll on a man's body. Yes, Hopkins did more damage to Joppy than Taylor but, then again, Joppy didn't run for 7 rounds against Hopkins either. Also, Trinidad ****ed Joppy up more than Hopkins did, does that mean he's better? I doubt anyone here would say that.

Taylor has great potential. He could be the next champ, but not right now. He is being moved too quickly, he better get at least 5 more fights against good opposition before dreaming of a fight with B-Hopkins.

Yeah well that's one of the problems with the middleweight division.
You have D-class fighters - 60% of the population C-class fighters - 25% B-class fighters - 12 % and Top class fighters 3%...No those aren't the exact figures, but that's what makes it hard to prepare yourself for taking on a champ like Hopkins...to many garbage fighters on your road to the belt can make you come in not prepared to fight..
