      Freddy isn't one of the only trainers who let his guys spar full on, they all do. You just don't see it - you see it with freddie though. You have to exert yourself teh way you would in a fight at some point in camp so it can be gauged if you can go a 'hard' 12 or not. Doing 12 lax sparring rounds will never tell the full story.
      Yes ofcause every fighter spares at full steam but the also do sparing where the try and create a situation were the deliberately are in trouble so the can work on weaknesses,
      To my knowledge Freddy dossent do that.
      Canelo`s last interview he stated that he likes when the sparing partner attacks him at full force so he is forced to learn.

      If the only thing you do in camp when sparing is to try and crush the sparing partner you wont learn as much as if you ease down a littel and let him get momentum .
      Your apponent may be better then you, have are you going to deal with that if you just blow your sparing partners away?, you let of the gas just a littel and let him get his way .
