Kessler and Froch are not even in Dawson's league. Dawson beat a couple European champions too (Diaconu and Adamek). I would say Adamek>Kessler and look what Dawson did to him.
I don't know if Dawson has enough rest to prepare him for Ward, not only does he have to drop down in weight, I don't know if it's cuts have fully healed yet. But then again Morales fought Pacquiao after a brutal fight with Barrera.
Dawson < Pascal < Froch < Kessler.

Reason: My post was invisible for some reason. :wtf:
I think the odds accurately display what will be the outcome of this fight. Ward by wide UD.
Name ONE instance where Chad has been completely dominated thus that would lead you to a "wide UD" decision that you allege?
Make believe aside, WAY TOO MUCH is being put on about the weight. Chad initiated this right? You don't think he knew prior to making this call out that WARD was NOT going to come up to 175 and the onus was on HIM in making weight??
When has Chad had a problem making weight? I could see if this were Chavez Jr but even Chad "says" that he made 175lb easy eating what he wanted. Point being, he and his nutritionist probably devised a diet for him to safely get to that weight. ANyways, too much is being made about the weight now the fight.
Chad IMO fights to his level of opposition and he seems to FINALLY have hit a stride with his criticisms and a trainer (shout out to Ice Scully)
to his liking.
Here's the bottom line I said this before and I'll say it again. Chad has MORE experience fighting ELITE level guys that have more than a singular style than WARD. Ward is an impressive talent but guys like Kessler, Froch, Bika, Abraham pretty much have ONE style.
I guess people are forgetting (despite his age) Chad beating Hopkins clearly in a way we've never seen since RJJ 1. Hopkins knows EVERY dirty trick and more importantly HOW to nullify someones primary weapons and he was at a loss with Chad.
When have we seen WARD have to come from behind against someone at a an elite level? Sure he's been knocked down but he was ahead in the fight.
We ALL know that Chad was about to finish off Pascal in arguably a fight where he looked awful early on. (Pascal needs to than his HEAD for that "W" more than anything).
Like I said on another board, the same people nut riding Ward now are the same ones who said he had NO BUSINESS being invited in the Super Six initially. I like both guys and the fight is MUCH closer than 3 - 1 odds.

Who knows? All we know is that the callout was made in exitement after beating Hopkins.

Having a weight on fightnight at 185+ suggests some neccessary draining to make 175 let alone 168.

That is a terrible statement.

Really? How do we all know that? Or just how do YOU know that?
i didn't pull the trigger on the garcia / khan fight, a 6-1 payout. i just see this one as a closer fight than those 3-1's.
I couldn't resist...imo, the result we got could've been seen a mile away but hype is a sickness...some dudes over-hype and some dudes don't give enough hype to certain things fighters may be good at....countering was ALWAYS a Garcia strength...I put the betting site link up on my fb and told my friends to bet on Garcia by KO...the odds were too good and the outcome was too probable imo
I think Ward SHOULD be the fav but I'll be betting on Dawson...SOG is HBO's new guy....they're getting ready for Floyd, Manny, and Cotto to ride off into the sunset by putting the light on Canelo, Broner, Chavez Jr and Ward....boxing nerds KNOW that those dudes can't lose decisions...you have to KO them...so Ward SHOULD be the fav because anything that goes to the cards will have Ward winning...the same rules apply for the others mentioned as well...Martinez is gonna have to KO Jr....he will....I think Chad can beat Ward up really bad..stop him? ....still putting money on Dawson, no major amount though...something lite!!!
It's going to be a close fight, but being in Ward's hometown that basically means Dawson can't win a decision unless Dawson absolutely dominates which i don't think will happen. Nobody is getting KO'ed either so the only outcome i can see is Ward by decision.
If it was on neutral ground then it would be a different story imo.
