I thoroughly enjoyed the Chavez Jr./Martinez Face Off and am convinced Sergio is going to dismantle and defeat JCC Jr. just like everyone thought initially when this fight began being discussed over a year ago.

I really dont like Jr at all. He has the attitude that shows he hasnt had to work for anything and was handed everything. I found his demeanor in the face off very interesting. Its as if he knows all he has to do is survive 12 rounds and he will get the win. The only concerns I have is if he can withstand sergios punches then he wil get to the point where he can walk right through them and get close enough to land those beautiful left and right hooks to the body wearing Sergio out and possibly KOing him. That being said I favor Sergio based on skill and boxing IQ but Jr is a really live dog in this fight.
On a side note if Sergio is able to execute his game plan and box circles around Jr that doesnt mean he is running. I dont want to hear the Jr fan boys cry after saying that he ran.
Should Jr win via KO or bysome miracle out box Sergio then he gets mad props from me no doubt.
Im looking forward to it and I hope Jr makes weight becaus if he doesnt then that throws a wrench in everything.

If you saw the manfredo fight you saw chavez being in and out, counter punching, using his jab (that he hardly uses). he did that for 3 rounds then started going back to what he does and thats fighting on the inside. thats what i see. he did do any of that with lee because Lee was bigger in all aspects.

But yes Manfredo is no Martinez thats for sure but I still think that is the Chavez that needs to come out on fight night. The Chavez that fought the first 3-4 rounds vs manfredo. jabbing, countering, head movement, and body shots.

I dont think martinez is scared, from what I read DiBella cancelled the open workout so that they could setup good security for him. I think some Chavez Jr. fanboy(s) are trying to taunt Martinez by threating him which is pretty dumb. But I agree Chavez Jr. does have the youth and size to beat Martinez. Although, I dont agree with Chavez Jr. talking about how good his chin is, because if he is confident enough to take some solid lefts, that chin might just crack.

I dont see anyone being scared of anyone. I think Chavez will fight anyone. The problem is again Arum. He decides who he wants to put in with him at the end of the day. martinez is talking a lot because he needs to sell himself and is trying to get in Jcc's head. I dont like that character but it sells. I see Jcc using his boxing skills (like he did vs Manfredo) and winning a close fight.
