I am convinced Mayweather will fight Pacquiao before he fights Martinez. Pacquiao has shown that he lost a step while Martinez just fought a cruiserweight for 12 rounds with insane stamina. Martinez looks damn fresh for a 37 year. Mayweather won't fight someone who can match him in stamina and possibly speed.
I think Pac being a 147 pounder and being the biggest spectacle he could make might have something to do with it?

If youre not calling for Ward-Martinez then I dont want to hear Floyd-Martinez. Where are the posters calling for Pac-Martinez"? Keep it 100.

Whats the point of a rematch? Sergio out classed him 11/12 rounds and yeah he was hurt in that final round but come on here, Chavez is 180-190 lbs of course he has the power to hurt him. Sergio has fought him once before and will figure him out even better a second time around (look at the paul williams fight for example). Sergio vs Golovokin

I was shocked by Martinez's stamina. I don't think I've ever seen him move and throw so crisply and relentlessly for so long.

Martinez is unwilling at 37 to fight Andre Ward isnt he? Hell what about even 160 pounders like Sturm, Njikam, GG??

            Save the double standard.
Why are you changing the subject?

Martinez is willing to move down to 154 to fight Mayweather.

Nothing about tonight ruined a potential Mayweather-Martinez fight.

            Save the excuses

He DOES NOT fight like that. YOU know that. I watched the Baldi fight..a few times. He fought off his pivot and stayed in the pocket most of the night. The only round where you could say he was running a bit ws the 5th round but even then he was just trying to show off when he landed like 6 counters in a row.

Mayweather does not sit back and throw arm punches while pretending to be a corner back. Go back and watch him fight. Hell Sergio doesnt even usually fight like that. He was on his bike wayyy more than usual. And we found out why.
why would anybody take this fool seriously

Martinez doesnt fight like hes 37. No one is saying hes shot . Hell no one is saying he even lost a step. HBO was worshipping him like he was SRR before Chavez rattled his brain.

JMM is what 37? Anyone think hes shot? Right didnt think so.

Sturm just lost and he never wanted to leave Germany. Also, I thought Macklin beat him, and Martinez fought Macklin right after that win.

Golovkin just burst on the scene from an ESPN fight to finally an HBO fighter. Proksa was a step up, but Proksa himself was a prospect. Nobody was asking for Martinez vs Golovkin until now. One fighter at a time. Sergio can't just fight every new guy in town as soon as they come in.

Njikam is not worth saying anything about really. He's 0-0 to me. Get a notable win first.
