        • chicago boxing news? wtf, haha. if true, damn. it seemed like martinez didn't even sit on his punches to cause damage like that. like i just finished saying in another thread, chavez jr just has to take this loss as a learning experience. take time to heal and think about moving up to 168. he can make good fights with pavlik, abraham, and froch. but if team chavez really wants that rematch, i'm down to watch it (just to see martinez get paid again and watch it at a bar/casino how i did the first fight).

          • That's a serious injury...it can effect eye sight.

            • I figured he did, though Chavez would never show it. They are both some tough mother****ers.

In boxing terms, he wasn't. Never went down, never appeared to be in any real danger. A left hand in the end of round 4 was the closest thing to Chavez being "hurt" and he took it well.

Did you see Margarito get hurt by Pacquiao?

They were injured but not "hurt".

                  • And people say they want a rematch? Imagine what Sergio would've done with an injury-free left hand.

                    • That face can't handle another fight with Sergio.
