Not big on a rematch either when there are so many other potential great fights out there.
Does anyone really think Chavez is going to improve so much? This time Sergio will be a little more careful. Thats all.
i dont think one punch in the last minute of a fight warrants a rematch when Sergio dominated every round.
But it did get me leaping out of my seat.Comment

Concerning Pirog...
That KO from Pirog looked great......when it happened...
What's been happening lately? Nothing. Martinez is 37 and at a time of his career where the Chavez Jrs, Williams, Alvarezs, Mayweathers, Pavliks, Pacquiaos and maybe even Geale for a belt.
But he doesn't have time to waste on "prospects" with no financial, belt hardware or visibility benefits.
Before his big breaks, he's fought his entire career with those type of fights in a career that started late.
I would applaud a go at 168, but it's not necessary. By today's standards, everyone expects every top fighter to be some 8 division champion, but it's a shame that people make it a requirement to be considered a elite fighter. Martinez even says himself, he doesn't gain a lot and his body has the tendency to lose weight. He's also a natural 154lber who moved to middleweight. 168lbs is a big leap for a naturally 154lb, 37 year old man. Remember, he's not 27.Comment
