I was blown away that people actually thought Jr could win this. To Chavez' credit he never gave up. But lets be honest, he got schooled. I've always thought he was a fraud.

I wouldn't call Chavez Jr a fraud now, at least he lasted, something I thought he wouldn't do. But I would say Macklin, despite being stopped in the 11th round?, did better than Chavez Jr. I wouldn't even be mad if any one thinks Darren Barker put up a better fight than Chavez Jr.

I'm not ignoring Chavez Jr's 12 round outburst. It's just I thought Macklin and Barker did better throughout the fight than Chavez Jr did, they put up a real effort. Of course, lasting the distance is better than getting stopped in the 11th round, in most cases. But really, you just go back and watch Martinez vs Macklin/Barker in case you forgot, they actually did better than Chavez Jr. In fact, some dudes who thought Chavez Jr had a chance was because of Macklin and Barker's success against Martinez.
