I havn't seen him fight but i know there where talks of him fighting chop chop corely, who has been on a decent winning streak. Let him beat the old war horse then well talk about top ten guys.

So I read the article and then go to youtube to check this guy out and see what all the fuss is about. Not even a fan of Rios but this Mayfield guy has nothing coming. He looks like he has even less skill that Miadana. Whoever said the old washed up version of Mosley with less speed, polish(you are 100% right) and to make it worse less balance. Just cause you can punch don't mean you can fight or box. Mayfield ain't worth paying attention to or looking out for in the future. Saw nothing that I like about the guy.

Shouldn't have even got that interview.

What fight was Mayfield a sparring partner for Manny cause I don't see how he could help Manny prepare for anybody not even Margarito.

I like Mayfield, he really does try spark you the **** out. He's very entertaining but one of these days when he meets a good counter puncher he's going to get ****ed up real bad.

mayfield beats rios, cause he actually has movement. and since rios has no boxing skills, its kinda an easy fight...

I too have seen Karim train

not the beast you make him out to be at least IMO

and someone mentioned that he was sparring Manny so he had to be good

not necessarily. Margarito had him in his sparring camp for the sole purpose of him being strong and fitting the size of Mosley. His boxing skills actually almost got him released from the gig but we convinced his co-manager to keep him to muscle Margarito around

Rios is looking for bigger paydays while he still has the clout. I'm sure after the Abril fight, he is wanting the paydays sooner than later too.

Brandon Rios isn't exactly looked upon as a beast anymore either. Abril took his mystique away and he's been pretty much exposed as a guy who was beating up on fighters from a smaller weight class than where he belongs.
