Comments Thread For: Karim Mayfield: Brandon Rios Never Looked My Way

Brandon Rios was direct and to the point in his demand upon returning to the ring: bring on the baddest motherf***er at 140 lb.

The opponent offered was unbeaten contender Mike Alvarado, with their October 13 fight slated as a surefire candidate for Fight of the Year. All suggestions point to Rios’ demands being properly fulfilled.

Karim Mayfield is not just an unbeaten 140 lb. contender, but also a true fan of the sport. Chances are he’ll be at home watching the fight if he doesn’t have a bout of his own scheduled for the evening. What he wishes was that someone bothered to dial up his cell, as he just as easily fits the bill. [Click Here To Read More]

Let the man jump into the deep end of the pool. He say's he's tired of the little fish, he's loaded for bear. I personally think that he's a little premature, he really hasn't had that many fights and no name scalps on his belt, yet. Still I am tired of spoon fed champions and protected divas. I wish him luck, and I hope he doesn't get all involved with the Protectors after a little success.

He's a one handed fighter who just tries to land a big right hand. Doesn't uses his jab or even tries to set anything up. But he can crack though. Bam Bam punishes him though.

this guy is way to reckless to do anything against rios. All he does is shoot that one punch over and over. IF you never seen him fight that all he does is basically throws the same punch over and over and over till it lands.

We have seen that guy get sparked already, Vic darchinyan.

Btw, Karin May field is a nobody. Maybe three people have heard of him and two are in this thread and the other is his mother.

Just wanna say that Ive seen Mayfield fight on a number of occassions and he would put Bum Bum in the same position that Richard Abril did. Rios fights fighters who will "fight him" and not Boxers who will "Box him", because he cant Box. Especially on the outside. And Mayfield can Box and ****. There is a reason why he was Pacquiao's Sparring partner for a Number of fights and there is a reason why he hasnt been beaten yet. The Kid can Fight Period. Get Bum Bum outta here, He wouldnt Beat Marquez,Judah,or Lucas Matthysse, because he cant box. Period.
