I'm going cotto I think he would wear Alvarez down over 12 winning maybe 8-4
      What do u think ?
there's been several forums about this potential fight on here, but realistically it's to risky for golden boy at the moment. cotto is a better fighter at this moment in time so they'll wait for a year or two i'd imagine.

hard to say, it depends on what kind of chin cotto brings on fight night

i think cotto would box his doors off. all he's got to do is remain responsible and it's a fight he can easily win. pedro diaz has cotto boxing real good. the kid was always a beautiful boxer, even when he was coming up with a reputation as a bruiser.

canelo could check that chin of cotto's though. he'd have to take good care to stay out of the way of canelos gas. the best way to beat miguel cotto is to hurt him and he'll stop boxing and start to run.

The problem there is that cotto is'nt really a body puncher anymore, however canelo is'nt really a volume puncher either the proven formula on how to beat cotto is with volume in all three of his loses he been out worked, Canelo still has work to do against a 154lber but for the money I think he'd put it on the line if he could beat cotto that would give him the cred he needs to validate the hype

pretty good post...but I don't see Canelo hurting Cotto to the point that he'll start to run from him...

he is still in the picture isnt he?

i find it laughable that fighters like bradley and the klitschko brothers are ranked top ten p4p but cotto isnt? crazy. seems to be getting under rated because he lost to mayweather.

I think he's on the cusp of P4P Top 10 right now, but coming off a loss, it's hard to argue he should get an immediate rematch with Mayweather right now or get the big fight with Pacquiao. He needs to win this match to show what he has left.
