sometimes a punch does not effect a man instantly. it happens all the time. a guy gets cracked, remains upright, then wobbles and falls down.


the fact remains that if dirrell took a flush abraham punch on the jaw while on a knee and completely defenseless he's a mastermind actor with a rock solid chin.

Being stunned from a punch like that is one thing, being unable to box for two years is another. A busted ear drum is a bit different from some vague brain trauma that this doctor was unable to decisively define.

Let him come back and fight whom ever he wishes.....good luck to him. The only person that he could fight with any meaning is your boy Ward...the guy he was afraid to fight two years ago. I would like to seem them scrap, I am eager to see what the excuse not to make it happen will be this time though.

One thing that did surprise me is how easily Froch was able to inflict damage on him... Dirrell's nose and mouth were bleeding heavily after about 3-4 rounds and he'd hardly been hit. I often wonder what would have happened if Dirrell had chosen to open up, but I guess that'd make it a pick 'em, even with the handspeed advantage.

I don't think you're well placed to tell me if I clearly know the fighter or not. You haven't posted any video to back what you're saying up by the way. Large majority of those complaints are justified but people love to tell they aren't.
