For some reason I want to learn German. Actually, there's no reason at all, I just want to know a 3rd language and heard German is easy if you already know English.
Yeah. Both are germanic languages. As is dutch, swedish, danish, norwegian.
Sturm said he wants the Stieglitz-Abraham winner didn't he? Honestly I think it's a very winnable fight for Sturm, but I would like Abraham to knock him out.

It will be difficult. They fight on different networks.
The fact this fight was as close as it was demonstrates what has already been bestowed upon us already, and that's the fact that Abraham was never an elite fighter. Stieglitz is a solid fighter but not legitimate world class. Ward, Froch, Dirrell and probably even Bute would of handled Stieglitz with relative ease. Abraham is a good solid fighter but he has never been elite, which was shown to us against Dirrell, Froch and Ward.
His whole "reign" at MW was against B and C level fighters, and people fell in love with his power. Somehow he became a favorite to win the Super Six, and we saw very quickly that wasn't the case. This WBO title really doesn't mean anything. Because he was clearly and thoroughly dominated by the legitimate champions in the division already, and I think it's safe to say rematches would be no different.

Depends on how one defines elite. Abraham found a ceiling but it's still a pretty high ceiling. From 2006-09, he was probably the best at 160 in the world (I still say he takes Taylor and Pavlik). Not a great era there, but he's only lost to some VERY good fighters in a VERY good era at 168.

Great post. A competitive 8-4 decision win against a guy who was knocked out by Andrade isn't exactly a great accomplishment. The only rematch that makes sense is a Dirrell rematch to settle the score.

Hahahah before the fight, all you haters were like "Stieglitz lost by KO but now he's a way better fighter, he's improved, he's gonna win a comfortable UD AA ain't **** etc" but now that he won by UD "that **** wasn't a big accomplishment, he wasn't even able to KO him". Ok guys, Ok. I'll let you in your hate.
