But his team backing out after weeks of negotiations lead me to believe it was something else other than, they were scared or thought he wasn't ready. They're not that dumb, if he wasn't ready, negotiations would have never happened to begin with. Let alone news about the fight "getting close to done". Something went wrong in negotiations IMO.
if it was money, they would have said it was money

"he's not ready" is basically admitting to ducking, you wouldn't say it unless it was true, it makes no sense

Nah Oosthuizen turned him down because the money was too low : http://www.boxingscene.com/team-oost...w-offer--56121

How about Sakio Bika? That would be a hell of a fight.

They didn't want to fight in Nottingham, either.

Froch vs Stevenson fight makes perfect sense. He can whoop on another Canadian before going after some more bute

yusuf mack!?!? that guy is gatekeeper to gatekeepers!!

i wouldn't have minded froch taking this fight when mack was still 26-30 years old but imo hes past it now. appreciate that froch has a tough run since 08 but surely they can find a more credible opponent than mack attack.

He was supposed to fight Don George, but got injured. Maybe he'll heal miraculously and be ready to fight Froch lol

Nope. He injured himself just to get home court vs George. Not that it will make a difference cause George is gonna get KTFO but still.

I'd be down. Carl vs. Adonis sounds good to me.

Carl Froch would KO Stevenson, but it'd be a solid fight for Froch.

Froch vs. Bika/Groves/Stevenson/Pavlik, any of those would be good.

So going by your logic, Cotto was ducking Floyd in 05-06 when Top Rank said he wasn't ready, and Hatton ducked Floyd in 05' when Hatton's team said he wasn't ready. Right??? Doesn't matter, because both fights happened anyway, but still going by your logic.
