The Gamboa vs Salgado must take place before the end of November or Salgado vs Argenis Mendez will go to purse bid and their bout would need to take place before the end of January. That would be a great card though.

Do people even read the articles or are they even interested in the facts? An investigation was done which showed trace amounts not consistent with cheating but with contamination. SMH

They found trace amounts of nandro which is something real cheaters don't even use. I think in this case it was contamination. Anyway I'm looking forward to his next fight, I'm not a huge fan but he's exciting when he lets his hands go.

Real cheaters absolutely use Deca. In the martial sports, it was what Royce Gracie was busted for when he was suspended by the California Athletic Commission. It was what Bonds' trainer told people he was using as well and one of the drugs Clemens was reportedly using. Marion Jones admitted to using it as well. It is a great steroid to use for results with limited side effects, because it doesn't break down in to DHT and doesn't really aromatize.

Moreover, they can tell by the dose whether it is naturally occurring or doping generally. I haven't seen what Berto's positive number was, but clearly California didn't think it was just a "trace" that wouldn't cause a competitive advantage.
