Manny had amateur fights too. NOt to mention the underground fights he participated in. So no, Pac has had more fights than floyd.
I don't know if I'd call them wars but manny has been hit more.

Agreed! but in the context of a floyd/manny fight, manny is 4 years younger which mitigates the damage factor.

These arguments have been rehashed millions of times already. Like I said, blame Pac as much as you want and I don't think people would care. Again, I expect you to agree that your idol should not be fighting a washed up fighter.

I've heard that Floyd is now expressing interest in the fight. Maybe because he's starting to realized that never fighting Pac would leave an ugly dent on his legacy or he just simply wants Pac because the playing field has finally leveled. In any case, Arum should go for the kill and offer Floyd a flat $50 million with 0% PPV. That's slightly better than what Floyd is offering. If Floyd wants it, he should beg for it.

not really. Manny has 17 more fights than floyd. that's 17 more training camps. That's 17 more times he's had to go through sparring, roadwork, & actual fights.

Not to mention manny is a offensive fighter (gets hit more) while floyd is a defensive fighter it really doenst mitigate anything. Like i said before, athletes are like cars, its about the mileage not the year.

I agree. Mayweather had a much harder time with Cotto than Manny did. Bradley is one of the best fighters in the world and Pacquiao beat him easily in the opinion of the large majority of fans and boxing writers alike. If he can't score a clear win in his next fight then maybe his best days have past. I believe he will get a good victory and stay on top for another year or two.

i didn't post that to blame pac, just for accuracy. floyd surely isn't my idol.

floyd has been consistent in his "wanting to fight" manny. Its manny who has flip flopped on whether he wants the 50/50 osdt deal or doesn't want it.

If arum thought he could make that offer he would. But lets be reasonable here. floyd is the bigger star and lead promoter so he should make a reasonable offer. Manny should accept the reasonable offer. The fight is still good for the sport and the fans.

well larry made a fair point, floyd had many more amtuer fights. additionally, foyd seems to always be working in the gym. Like I said I'll just agree that manny has been hit more.

manny could've worked on his defense all these years. that he didn't isn't a sign of toughness or bravery but ******ity.

so its not just about the mileage on the car, but how you take care of it as the miles pile up.

The decline started with the Margarito-fight, it'll only get worse from here.

Pac's done mentally, he's just a money fighter now, not hungry
physically, he's past it, not quite shot yet
but he'll be done soon, he should fight Marquez again and retire
Floyd or Bradley 2 could happen after, but they aren't necessary
he's got 2 fights left in him at most

That luster is kinda gone to be honest... I use to look forward to watching him fight to see how the hell he would accomplish beating the SO CALLED bigger guy.. 09' was prob Pacs best year, Hatton and Cotto.. but now its just isnt as exciting anymore.

A Marquez bout isnt that appealing and Bradley would just play it safe to avoid getting KOed...
