I don't disagree that Rahman should not suddenly be ranked in the top ten. In fact, I completely agree. BUT- out of all the opponents out there for Povetkin and Co. to choose for Sasha to fight, they choose a somewhat recognizable name, and then show him no respect when he gets on board for the fight. It's reprehensible.

so many people here forget in 2010 rahman was active & beat 5 guys. yes they were not contenders but a few of them were recognizable journeymen. by being active & having 5 fights in 1 year it got his rank up to #3 in the WBA. activity helps rank as does winning regional titles. povetkin & chagaev were #1 & 2(chagaev being #2 was a joke if you think rahman at #3 is a joke)& fought for the vacant regular title(actually just making you the #1 contender). since they fought that moved rahman(being #3)into the mandatory slot for the winner of chagaev & povetkin. in 2010 rahman was one of the most active heavyweights that year(regardless of opponents) & being a former 2 time champion that gave him some favorable backing by the WBA powers that be. povetkin could of had this fight out of the way a year ago but instead decided to pay rahman step aside money twice so he could face boswell & huck. rahman just sat back & collected a couple of nice checks knowing he would get a title shot still.
