David Reid should've had the luxury to fight 30 bums back in the day...dudes are too soft today...especially the young dudes
He'll be handed a big fight against sub par competition and be called an ATG for it..... his fight against Mosley was dubbed.... a "classic"

TR and GBP working together is a good start for boxing.

Lara must be real confident about this. He has been robbed before and is going over to a show headed by top rank.

            154 is such a goddamn mess;

-Floyd's got a strap, but Canelo's the only big enough name at 154 to challenge for it.
-Kirkland likely sitting until late next spring/summer at the earliest.
-Angulo's free. Where's he going to fit in?
-WBC won't let Canelo unify with Trout
-K9 flat out doesn't want to fight Trout either.
-Texas Comission broke it's own rules to DQ Molina. Where does he go?
-Quintana got a good win in and is back in the mix.
-Who the **** is Zaurbek Baysangurov (WBO champ)???

Vanes-Lara is a small step towards cleaning up a huge mess.

LOL, how sad that this is true.

More of this needs to happen. These 154 guys need to start getting in the ring and fighting it out. So many of them haven't fought each other.

I can imagine people are looking forward to seeing vanes get served a whoopin', as this wont be very competitive - vanes really ain't that good at all.

Boom! Time to dish out a major ass whooping. This fight is gonna play out the same way Martinez-Chavez Jr is gonna play out, both southpaws annihilating the 2 sparring partners. Lara needs the KO anyway or he will get robbed. Only thing Vanes got going for him here is height and Lara's used to that **** by now.

I got 1 Bil on Lara. PM me.

Vanes said some key stuff a couple weeks ago, that I also pointed out about Lara - Lara hates pressure, he gets away with alot because he is a good lefty, but vanes has good amateur pedigree also - this will be interesting, not the blow out many think it will be - I think Lara can win, but don't count vanes out - he can box / brawl / slug - not too many can do that and he can apply pressure -

I agree Vanes basically pointed out all the flaws I see in Lara. Lara's lack of pop & the trouble Hernandez gave Lara when Hernandez came forward aggressively. Vanes can be dropped but I have the feeling if anyone scores the KO its gonna be Vanes. Lara has fought guys like Molina & Williams so he has fought the better opposition but I just think Vanes presents a real challenge to him. Vanes is a hungry undefeated fighter. I can't quite pick this one I have it at a push. Could go either way.
Lara had problems with Hernandez when he was coming forward? Lara won an easy UD and his face was clean as a whistle. Btw with Vanes you don't need pop . He'll find out Nov 10th.
