Comments Thread For: Povetkin's Manager Only Impressed By Rahman's Fatness

Vladimir Hyrunov, the manager of WBA "regular" world heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin, was not impressed by two-time former WBC king Hasim Rahman. There was a lot of tension at a recent press conference in Germany. Povetkin vs. Rahman takes place on September 29 in Hamburg. Rahman promised to do a lot of damage to Povetkin on the night of the fight. Hyrunov laughed at the comments and poked fun at Rahman's physical shape. Who would buy a ticket for this farce fight?

What true boxing fan would waste good money to see a 50 year old 275 lb over the hill 10 years ago old fat Rahman fight a slow robotic plodding lead footed Povetkin????

Exactly, that's why you bums chose to fight him.

The WBA inexplicably made Rahman their heavyweight mandatory, even though he hasn't had a good win since 2005.

Povetkin doesn't have a choice, he HAS to fight him.

Hopefully, Rahman will retire after this one. We'll likely see Povetkin-Wlad early in 2013.
