Vladimir Hyrunov, the manager of WBA "regular" world heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin, was not impressed by two-time former WBC king Hasim Rahman. There was a lot of tension at a recent press conference in Germany. Povetkin vs. Rahman takes place on September 29 in Hamburg. The WBA inexplicably made Rahman their heavyweight mandatory, even though he hasn't had a good win since 2005.

Povetkin doesn't have a choice, he HAS to fight him.

Hopefully, Rahman will retire after this one. We'll likely see Povetkin-Wlad early in 2013.
