Floyd offering zero PPV has nothing to do with Arum. You gotta be too ****** to blame the biggest fight of this century not happening to a promoter.
Timothy Bradley: "Mayweather flattens Pacquiao."

So Floyd is older than Pac and you're saying Floyd is waiting for Pac to get old? And yes everyone said ODLH would be too big for Pac, until everyone founf out about the weight stipulations. ODLH was fighting at 147 for the first time in 8 years and he had a rehydration clause in the contract. ODLH weighed in at 145, and the day of the fight ODLH was 147 and Pac was 148.5. ODLH was only allowed to rehydrate 2lbs over night. So I think the weight drained theory was correctly applied for this fight.Comment

Bradley in ring after the Pac fight finished before the decision was read:
"Mayweather will never stop him"
LOL
if Manny is that easy, why doesn't Floyd just take 50/50, which would still make him significantly more than he does per fight now - and humiliate Manny and end the hype?
Why isn't Floyd all over this fight? Making double what he does now, finish Manny, get one over Bob....Comment

Oh, yes. Bob Arum made Floyd offer Manny a flat fee and no PPV % when the drug testing issue was resolved.
It's like I've always said - if Manny is that easy, why doesn't Floyd just take 50/50, which would still make him significantly more than he does per fight now - and humiliate Manny and end the hype?

Oh wait, he can't let Manny have a PPV percentage of one of the biggest fights ever.....you know, where he's one of the protagonists.
Again, I will ask the question....
Why isn't Floyd Mayweather all over this fight?Comment

You just made my point for me - Floyd previously agreed to 50/50 at a point where Manny was doing weaker numbers than he does now.
Why throw another roadblock when he could back Arum into a corner and show the world how badly he wants a fight; a fight most people (including myself) think he would win.
You've got them to accept OST, take the 50/50 (where you still make huge money), end the Manny train once and for all, get one over Bob....
Again, I will ask the question I have asked many times....
Why isn't Floyd jumping all over this fight?
Because Manny doesn't deserve a share of the PPV?
We all know Arum is holding the fight up - but why is Floyd?
Double he does now? This fight doesn't break 2 mil now and splitting it 50/50 instead of the 80% which is probably around what he takes from other fights means he doesn't make much more if any. Everyone has lost interest in the fight, Pacquiao needs a big win to get some interest back.Comment

Welcome to 2012 where Manny has agreed on the OST and Floyd has decided to shift the goal posts when it comes to the split.

Yes, double it. This fight still does giant numbers. It's lost interest for the hardcore fans but even those will pay.Comment

You know, this is why I don't try to converse with fans who are aligned firmly to one side.
You guys are entrenched in your ideas, and are unable to think laterally.
Step back a second, liberate yourselves from having to defend one side, and see this for what it is; two people are holding this fight up - Arum and Mayweather.
Arum you can sort of understand because of his hostility towards Floyd, and knowing that Floyd would end the Manny era.
But why is Floyd holding this fight up? Why offer Pac such sh-t figures in such a hugely lucrative fight, when the only outstanding points to used to be OST - which is now resolved.
Would YOU throw another roadblock in negotiations (and a HUGE one) in a fight that you're such a favourite to win - and reap such great rewards (financially and legacy-wise) if you did?Comment

They tried their best to make it happen and they tried to be as fair as possible but it didn't work out, so now both guys are thinking "Fuck him! He needs me more than I need him, if we fight it'll be on my terms!"Comment
