For sure Sergio has pop. Jr has been overpowering opponents but they didn't have the crunch Sergio will bring to the table. Jr's career management will come crumbling down.

Sergio has to split Jr's high guard with some head-body jab combos, try to keep everything straight down the pipe.

Without a jab, Jr must find a way to cut the ring off on Martinez, and **** the body. We all know that. The incoming will be unlike anything Jr has ever seen before. Martinez can turn old at anytime, but I think that Jr is going to have to take it away from Martinez. Can Jr win? It's a very hard fight, but Jr gets mad props from me should he win.

Didnt Roach want a 10x10 ring?

Willams was a beast, please believe, with a granite chin too.

Exactly, but that gets easily forgotten by todays fan.

I can't see Chavez Jr coming forward flat-footed and taking Martinez' flush left hands without going down. I just can't see it.

One of two things will occur: Chavez's over-hyped chin gets wrecked, or his mug gets sliced up. Roach better be teaching him how to avoid/counter Sergio's jab and straight left. Jr needs more tools in his skill-set to effectively deal with Martinez, simple as that. He fights Sergio like he did everyone else and he'll most likely get outclassed.
