Remember when Ward called out Martinez?

First of all, Martinez said it would be an honor to fight a great champion like Andre Ward and that he would consider moving up to face him. This is when minor talks surfaced and Ward said what he said.

I don't know why people like to change history, like one can't just google everything that happened.

They said this, then they said Ward drained Dawson. Both times, Wards name was mentioned first. But both times, it is changed to "Ward did this" and "Ward called out that person".

Actually, i don't have a problem with Ward. People here will tell you the fighters i have a problem with and Ward is not one of them. To tell you the truth tho, I'm becoming less fond of him. Dude wants to be the best and P4P but can't fight out of Oakland cause nobody knows him.

Do you guys really think this fight would be happening right now if Dawson said "Ward come fight me"? No weights mentioned. I don't think so... But maybe I'm being bias.

Im not trying to change anything around bro. I don't remember Martinez calling out Ward. I just remember Martinez winning and right afterwards Ward tweeting some **** like "let's fight." And that's when DiBella came out saying Martinez is a small MW and a fight with Ward was probably not possible.

sounds like a contradiction to me.honestly what difference does it make where the fight is? maybe ward should have some fights outside of oakland but at the same time he is the one with the leverage thats what happends when you beat everyone that is put in front of you and when you are fighting the best in your division.

Him as well has cleared out his division except for Pascal who is already scheduled to fight and that first fight was straight up bs. My last statement was a simple question, if Dawson had called out Ward without any weights being mentioned would this fight be happening right now? And I said I don't think it would be happening cause the dude is not even willing to budge 2 lbs. I bet you it would be easier for Ward to put on those 2 lbs than it is for Dawson to lose 7.
