Pernell Whitaker is indeed a greater fighter than Roy Jones.

But, I don't understand why you (thread creator) feel the need to present it in this fashion.
Why slam Jones in order to praise Whitaker ? These two weren't rivals....except as lb4lbers, & even that was for a short time....as Whitaker was slowing down as Jones was heating up.

In fact, I think the majority of boxing people would rate Whitaker higher than Jones.....so you can't even have sour g****s in that area.
