Roy Jones was a fraud...Pernell was the best

I personally think Sweet Pea was great.

But he wasnt much of a puncher. And by that i dont mean his power, more his ability and skill with punches. Great jab, amazing movment and reflexes.

Jones was an incredibly skilled puncher. His shots were excellent.

And as far as opposition, Jones didnt fight anyone compared with Whitaker.

Credit to Roy though, he did dominate the rest of that fight. But also credit to De Valle for knocking Roy down. I wouldn't say however, he ALMOST GOT KO'D. Roy did get right up and didn't seem to hurt.

Ok....if your going to join the scene to post this garbage please....save us all some time. The point your making could be discribed with much better wording making your post seem more credible. Please if you continue to post in the future make it seem like you actually have conversed in public prior to this. You seem childish and make Manny_P look like Ernest Hemingway....really....

pernell whitaker was 1 of the most if not the most boring fighters of all time..this guy would go rounds without throwing a meaningful punch

Anyway, i thought he made a fair point.

Jones didnt fight the quality opposition as did Whitaker. (at least from wat i know)

Jones was brilliant to watch. Most of the time.

Whitaker, IMO was a brilliant defensive fighter, and i also love watching his fights.

So im neutral.
