    3. POONSAWAT KRATINGDAENGGYM (PABA) THA
    4. RENDALL MUNROE U.K.
    5. YOANDRIS SALINAS CUB

    14. KIKO MARTINEZ (EBU) SPA
    15. REY GIOVANI VARGAS MEX

There are alot more deserving contenders in that list than his latest unranked opponent.

Another interesting point to note is that Rigo is finishing opponents off quick and early, in 3 fights over the last 2 years he has fought just over 12 rounds.

I heard Rigo will negotiate a contract extension after this fight, if he stays with TR but doesn't get Donaire he's screwed.
Rigo is not getting a Donaire fight anytime soon he can forget that. Arum thinks about the money and the money is with Donaire so he not gonna risk status and the next Manny by puttin him in the ring with Rigo.

Rigo does need to make some more noise and start fighting better guys. Too many fighters if they can't get the money fight instead fighting they guys ranked 2,3,4,5 they instead fighy guys ranked 20,21,22,23. After the win they act like they just beat a world beater and want all the respect in the world. GTFOH with that.

But on the other hand, if Arum wants to keep Rigo he's gonna have to give him something worth staying for. If I was Rigo I'd ask Arum to put in my contract that I'll fight one of the following in my next fight :

        -The Donaire/Nishioka winner
        -The Marquez/Vasquez Jr winner
        -Montiel
        -Mijares
        -Agbeko

If Arum says no I switch to golden boy in a heartbeat.

I like your post full of assumptions just to fit your agenda. You know damn well no Top Rank fighter is gonna fight a GB fighter. And you seriously think the Mares-Moreno talks started yesterday just cause you heard about it yesterday? Only a blind fool would believe that. Why do you think Mares and Moreno were on the same card a few months ago? Everybody knew GBP been trying to build this fight up. Well at least anybody who has a clue about boxing.

Now sshh, take a seat and let grown man discuss.

Most on here know he isn't your typical 10 fight only pro, and would be dangerous opponent for any of the top guys at 122.

But at the same time, what has he done as a pro, to earn him a shot at a title?

Hopefully he is impressive against Marroquin, grabs a belt, and can have some weight to throw around.
He has a belt, he KO Ramos for it after Ramos hod the Jap Champion, he is a title holder at 122 before Nonito and Mares...

It's been rumored that TR/GB/TMT have made offers to Rigo. Arum is using the Marroquin fight to keep Rigo tied down while they work out the contract. I hope that Rigo's manager makes sure to ask for a guarantee on Donaire, or else Rigo will leave.

We talk about the TR/GB feud all the time, yet we still make match-ups involving both promotions lol. Now people are gonna fault Rigo for not fighting Mares? Sure, a fighter has to take some responsibility when their career is being mismanaged/under-promoted. But we know Arum is on Donaire's side, trying to build him up as the next Filipino star.
