How much longer will Rigo not carry any of the blame?

With recent news announcing Mares and Moreno are scheduled to fight following the announcement of Donaire and Nishioka isn't it odd that the fighter some consider to be the best in the division is scraping by without any criticism whatsoever fighting an opponent way over his head.

Before anyone mentions Rigo's amount of fights, bear in mind he carries a title and more importantly has demanded fighting the best.

Why isn't he and his team trying hard to secure the fights he needs? Why is he fighting another prospect after his destruction of Teon Kennedy?

As I've said before, Rigo is in one of those dog chasing tail type of deals.

Most on here know he isn't your typical 10 fight only pro, and would be dangerous opponent for any of the top guys at 122.

But at the same time, what has he done as a pro, to earn him a shot at a title?

Hopefully he is impressive against Marroquin, grabs a belt, and can have some weight to throw around.

Donaire, Mares, and Moreno all seem to be able to land fights against tough opponents with no problem.

But Rigondeaux keeps fighting mediocre foes. His fans would have you believe that it's his promoter's fault but there's gotta be more to it than that because Donaire has the same promoter.

Thought his next fight was for a belt to claim, not one he already had. My mistake.
