In terms of talent he is #1 IMO. When evaluating career he is still top 5 but he was inactive for a little while at times during his career which hurts him. However when I think of talent, Ray Leonard is #1.

It's all subjective. Sugar Ray can be the best fighter to you. But you can't expect everyone to agree with you on it.

Hearns was winning the first fight and should have got the decision in the second. Talent Hearns>>>>>>>>>>>Leonard.

Tommy didn't beat leonard, and the rematch was Hearns to win until that terrible last round.

                Leonard > Hearns

No way did Leonard win the rematch i don't believe many people think he did.

He also lost to Duran and then Duran got fed up of his games in the second fight and quit. Fought a declining Hagler who had been talking about retirement, got a generous decision and refused a rematch.

Outside of a few clips, I never saw "Babe" Ruth play baseball; but I believe he's the greatest baseball player of all time. (I'm a big baseball fan.)

I'm not enough of a boxing historian to run down all the reasons, point by point, why Robinson is the GOAT. But I can certainly tell you that not seeing him fight isn't a good enough reason to argue against all the historians, boxing experts and legendary fighters that cite the original "Sugar" as the greatest.
