Wow, I didn't realize the Brits had such a persecution complex. First, Lennox Lewis was a great boxer but he is an awful commentator and an awful boxing analyst. His "insights" are just plain terrible. To cite to Lennox as proof that Joshua won the fight as "a CLEAR winner" is a real head scratcher. Most real boxing fans quit listening when you said that. Second, I don't think there is any hatred for Brits on this board. You'll find a lot of Froch fans, many Lennox Lewis fans, David Haye fans, etc. The disconnect seems to be that British fans tend to be insanely patriotic and support their fighters extremely to points beyond rationality. So yes people laugh and make fun of Brits when they start talking about how Vitale Klitschko is ducking David Haye or how Haye is the best heavyweight or that Amir Khan would beat Mayweather. That has nothing to do with the fans being Brits, but rather with them taking ****** positions and leading with their chins so to speak.
Personally, I could not care less regarding the winner of the Joshua/Cammarello fight. But I watched it and thought Roberto won. Even the British press acknowledged that it was "controversial." And, there have never been any hometown boxing decisions in the Olympics now, have there?
