@10-1 underdog, Would you bet on Lopez to beat Canelo?

I'm one few who's falling into "I think he's gotta better chance than we think" group.

I know the size difference is gonna be about 10-15 lbs on fight night, but Canelo's work rate really bothered me against Gomez(I thought he should've finished him in the 2nd), don't know how good Canelo's chin is because he covers up really well.

This Lopez kid has a very high work rate, which could cause Canelo problem problem if he decides to fight in his usual Peek-a-boo style, especially since Lopez loves going to the body.

I think imma put some money down on this fight.

Ask yourself this, if Lopez can't KO Canelo can he win a decision? If he's a 10-1 underdog what do you think the chances of him KOing Canelo are? I personally would only do 20 bucks if I was to bet on this fight.

This is one of those fights where an upset is nearly unimaginable. Canelo's size alone will be deciding factor.

Yea but Martinez's style isn't to stand in there and duke it out, Lopez's is. Hopefully for his sake and the fans who wanna see him win he will adjust and box from the outside...

If you're a gambler, and you obviously are, I don't see a problem with putting a small wager on Lopez at those odds. How "small" you consider a bet to be is an individual thing. I'm a conservative gambler, so I'm thinking along the lines of twenty bucks or so. If the (very) unlikely happens (again), you can walk away with a couple of hundred bucks. If you lose, so what...twenty bucks. I wouldn't bet anything like, say, $100. That would be just throwing money away. Then again, maybe you consider one hundred dollars a "small" wager....

This is definitely the best answer IMO. Everyone has a "shot" but his shot is small and putting a couple hundred would be way too risky for me as i don't have that lying around. I'd put 50 bucks on it though at those odds...that is a great return and wouldn't hurt me too much if I lost.

I agree...some people think size is the only factor that matters though.

Canelo landed 57% of his power shots (and 52% of his total shots) on Mosley and couldn't drop him -___-. Yeah i know i know, Mosley has never been stopped, but come on now. You couldn't even floor a shot Mosley? Canelo is heavy-handed and throws with proper technique, but I'm still not convinced. If he doesn't stop Lopez, everybody gonna look at him like they do Malignaggi lol
