Hatton will be just a steppingstone waiting to be KTFO if he decides to return to boxing.

Everyone said Morales was shot and he came back and was seriously competitive...Hatton/Morales.

I remember all you guys hatin on Hatton way back in 2007. He was a great champion who only lost to two of the greatest fighters of this generation. He probably wants to erase the pain of losing to pacman by winning a couple more fights. Can you blame him?

O no.... this will just open all sorts of doors for a Pac vs Hatton II.... I hate when I think like Bob.

Hatton was a serious overachiver. For as little talent as he had, he accomplished a hellava lot. Problem is that vs top shelf fighters in their prime, a good chin, decent punch, and a never say die attitude just ain't good enough. I hope he does come back though, dude was never in a bad fight

I like the sound of this comeback, it seems conservative and well thought out.

Start with a home bout with a solid tune-up in Manchester to assess condition and punch resistance and then take on Malignaggi in a world title bout in the new year.

If he can win that then a bout with Marquez is a possibility.

Weebler, I like Hatton and hope he comes back, but he better avoid JMM. He can't win that fight!

He's not coming back to fight lesser fighters, if he beats Malignaggi then stellar names like Khan, Marquez, Mayweather will be touted.

It's not always about winning either, Ricky always said he wanted to sign off his career against Marquez in a war.

Early days at this point though, let's see how he looks in his comeback.

Mayweather will not be touted by anyone that lives in reality lol. A Khan fight in England would be big. Don't think Marquez would fight Hatton though, he's much too obsessed with getting a win over Pac.

You think he can handle it in the ring still Weebler? I'm a little nervous about this, granted he wouldn't have to kill himself to get all the way down to 140 since the fight would be at 147. I just think he should enjoy retirement and concentrate on his promoting. Although I can't deny the fact that I would like to see him fight again though. I guess I'm just torn on this one.
