Your unwillingness to answer is puzzling. you stated how you feel a fighter shows he wants the fight. So I asked you does that apply to manny? Either it does or it doesn't.

your interpretation of my post is equally baffling because I never posted or suggested anyhting like you put in your responding post.
You keep losing me. I don't even know how to respond to your question which sounds illogical. PUT SIMPLY, if the GOAL is the FIGHT. Then the rest of the details becomes irrelevant. Doesn't matter who, JMM, Bradley, King Kong, it simply makes no difference. You're saying that Floyd should not beg for the fight because he's no Bradley or JMM or Mosley. Riight. So then I am right. Floyd doesn't want the fight that bad.

Again, what should Floyd do to make the fight happen? Assuming he really wants the fight.

    • This train left the station a long time ago

For the millions of fanboys the fight might still be relevant ,for the hardcore boxing fans ,not so much.

      The ruined it

nice spin but you are not ******. again, why the need to purposely missinterpret what i posted?. Its a simple question-DO your standards for "wanting a fight" apply to manny as they do JMM, Tim, floyd, king kong, and every other fighter?

If they don't, WHy can't you be man enough to admit that they don't?

are you saying the OSDT and $40 mil/no ppv are irrelevant if manny wanted to fight? or is this something that only applies to everyone except manny?

as to your last question, manny has said he will agree to the dec 09 deal if it were offered again. Is that wrong? If so, if manny is true to his word, all floyd needs to do is offer the same deal again to make the fight.

Now can you tell me if your standards apply to manny?

They are irrelevant IF YOU REALLY WANT THE FIGHT. Like I said WANTING THE FIGHT means proving yourself you're better than the opponent. Point is, it's okay to say you're not interested. Then the opponent has the primary obligation of begging for the fight. That's okay. You want it, then beg for it. I'm just saying please stop saying you want it when you clearly don't. And it's okay. That's all I'm saying.

BTW, OST has been a non-issue for a long time now. Did the fight happen? No.

you still haven't answered. do your standards apply to manny, yes or no?

do you mean if you take the fight you want the fight? if so then:

Floyd has made manny 2 different offers. The first offer was so good, manny wants it again so he can say yes. But since he said no in dec 09, he OBVIOUSLY DIDN"T WANT TO FIGHT!! The last offer wasn't great, but according to you the deatils are irrelevant if you really want the fight. Manny said no again, indicating he doesn't want the fight.

It seems though, the details, like OSDT or no ppv, only matter to you when its manny. why is this, because you are a manny fan?

First of all, you don't make take it or leave it offers IF YOU REALLY WANT THE FIGHT. Clear as day. If the other side doesn't agree at first with your terms, you adjust and do something else. That is IF YOU REALLY WANT THE FIGHT. Floyd doesn't want it. Clear as day.

Do you really believe Bob Arum needed to build a stadium, that Manny's cuts needed extra time, and that he didn't know who to contact on Floyd's side for the fight, or that he just didn't want to make it???

Hopefully they can get it done for Spring 2013.
Do you really believe Floyd retired? Do you really believe Floyd wanted random test beginning with Manny and no other fighter until Manny? LOL

                • This is long overdue but boxing fans will never get over this fight (including myself). If this fight does not happen boxing takes a huge blow. I'm with the majority thinking that it's an easy UD for Floyd, but you never know, this is boxing after all.

Retired? No, took a vacation, Yes. I'm sure his brittle hands played a major role in why he "retired" or took that vacation.

The worst part about it is that he came back to take on only the #2 P4P best... That is so weak. Who does that? Who takes all that time off and fights a weak #2 best P4P fighter who literally schools Pac in every fight? That was just weak and Floyd's lowest point in his career. Hated that fight!

On the flip side PEDS do exist and there is a starting point for everything. Don't worry though, I'm sure the first fighter who had random urine testing done was given a lot of heat too as that is just weird and uncalled for. PEDS at one point didn't exist because only certain people knew about them so that basically makes it nonexistent.

I bet everyone bashed the first few fighters who had to undergo urine testing or even a physical. Physicals are weird and uncalled for... There was no need for any of that at one point.. I'm sure when all that started people got just as upset as they are with Floyd because he noticed just how many people are cheating today and there had to be a starting point for blood testing.
