How does the UK keep producing so many good amateurs? Why can't the US with all their money and resources do this?

i saw some of the USA team interviewed in the build up to Olympics when they were training at Amir Khan's gym and some sounded like they thought they only needed to turn up and not work hard for the win, maybe for the next Olympics America doesn't need the most naturally gifted boxers, it needs the boxers with the most hunger to win.

great by Joshua by the way, i had Cammarelle winning by 1 after round 2 but Joshua easily won round 3 by at least 3, it should have never gone to countback

Cammorelli was ragged in the last round and got tagged a lot i don't know how he was ahead in the first round either i had joshua ahead in the first cammorelli took the second and joshua took the third overall i think joshua deserved the Gold but i would not of been aggrieved if cammorelli got it joshua needs more work and should stay in the amateurs for maybe a couple more years hes got talent but he needs to refine it lets hope he says no to the money for now

he's about 21/22 so he could easily go to next Olympics and still be young enough to fight at the top professionally for a good few years, Hearn, Warren, Maloney, etc are probably ringing him now offering lots of money but if he stays amateur and wins a world championship and defends his Olympic title in Rio he's going to be able to command even more money, why throw that away for some quick money now and risk ending up with a dodgy promoter?
