    Looks that way. The 2012 medal haul was the least since the 1976 Montreal Olympiad, where Cuba won 13. Still, for such a small impoverished country, Cuba does inordinately well. Many larger, more affluent nations aren't as successful. As I pointed out earlier, Hungary (at least this year) is the only comparable nation to better Cuba at this year's Olympics. Let's hope things improve in 2016.
