    1 Mayweather
    2 pac
    3 ward
    4 Marquez
    5 cotto
    6 Donaire
    7 Martinez
    8 rigo
    9 Bradley
    10 Moreno

I've based this on if everybody was the same weight who the top ten would be not on resumes , if that was the case rigo and Moreno would be off for froch and Dawson .

I had to really think about it but here's my list:

      1. Floyd Mayweather Junior

It's been five years since he first "retired" and now, more than ever, it's clear Floyd Mayweather is the best fighter in the sport. He's the most skilled, possesses one of the best resumes, remains undefeated and has, for the most part, dominated everyone he's faced. His grip on this position is tenuous, however, with fighters such as Ward, Bradley and Donaire ready to strike.

      2. Timothy Bradley
Many will vehemently argue against this pick but Timothy Bradley is pretty damn good. An undefeated two-division champ with solid wins at 140 and one versus a legend and highly-ranked Manny Pacquiao. I think most will agree that the fight was very close, in spite of the initial rash reaction from seemingly everyone. I had Manny winning close at first but see it more and more for Bradley with each viewing. Lots of swing rounds so I think it could have gone either way. Regardless, an excellent win for Desert Storm. If he is able to land the Pacquiao rematch and win, we might witness a pound for pound showdown versus Mayweather next year. Might.

      3a. Sergio Martinez / 3b. Andre Ward
I think we'll have a better idea of where these two guys belong on this list after September. They both have the potential to rise to the top slot with an impressive win that month although it's just as likely that their careers head in opposite directions. Martinez' wins over Pavlik and Williams catapulted him to this list and I may be in the minority who has been extremely impressed by his subsequent title defenses. Ward's already a very decorated technician and is primed for a long reign at the top. It won't be easy though, starting with Dawson next month.

      4. Wladimir Klitschko

I don't think much needs to be said here. The way Wladimir has bounced back from what looked like career-ending defeats is nothing short of remarkable. He faced his demons in that first Sam Peter fight with a performance that exhibited power, skill, toughness and heart. He hasn't stopped since and doesn't look to be stopping any time in the near future either. He's already a top 15 heavyweight and in spite of the suspect opposition, if he continues this for a while, we may all be surprised at how high his final ranking is.

      5. Manny Pacquiao
I can't honestly look at the Pacquiao I've seen in his past three bouts and put him ahead of the aforementioned fighters. He hasn't had a notable win since his hammering of Cotto in 2009, although that depends on how you view his last two matches. Either way, he's slipped quite a bit in the ring and on this list. Manny has still got the opportunity to redeem himself against Bradley and, to a lesser extent Marquez, in November and who knows what happens from there. A big win over Bradley is huge IMO but it's likely he loses and tumbles out of the top ten. There's a dark shadow over the latter part of his career but I don't believe that it overshadows his all-time great legacy. At the moment, however, it seems his end is fast approaching.

      6. Juan Manuel Marquez

      7. Nonito Donaire

      8. Chad Dawson

      9. Carl Froch

      10a. Miguel Cotto / 10b. David Haye

*Just cause I don't want to put Donaire in the top 10.

          @ Dazed, that's a good top 3. Although I had Bradley-Pacquiao a Draw every time I watched it[including the live], I like your explanation.

Other than that, Donaire shouldn't be in any one's top 10 P4P list, maybe, just maybe, top 15. Pacquiao can't be above Marquez since he not only lost to him, but he fought to a Draw against Bradley in my eyes, and even worse, he officially lost to Bradley. So I think Bradley and Pacquiao should be right next to each other, with Bradley being above. But Marquez belongs over both of them.

I think Dawson's wins against Hopkins, Johnson, Tarver, Adamek, Diaconu, are a lot better than anything Donaire has done in the last 5 years. And I like Cliff Rold's reasoning for leaving Pacquiao as #1 for what he has done for the past 5 years. Yet, in the past 5 years, Dawson has beaten ATG/HOF'er Bernard Hopkins, Tomasz Adamek, Glen Johnson twice, Antonio Tarver twice, and top rated Adrien Diaconu, with only one defeat to Jean Pascal which I thought he more than made up for that by clearly defeating Hopkins. Better than anything Froch, Moreno and Donaire have done in the past 5 years, who are all above Dawson on his list.

          Moreno over Dawson? lol.

Donaire? Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., Omar Narvaez, Fernando Montiel, Wladimir Sidorenko, Hernan Marquez. Lol.

Gamboa does not belong in the top 10 yet imo. One more big win, and he's in. Good list otherwise.

Carl Froch deserves pfp status over Gamboa.

I think all the names deserve to be there.....Of course I'd put Martinez and Bradley higher though but seems pretty decent to me.
