Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Opponent Nears, Arum To Announce Soon

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has confirmed that “Fighter of the Decade” Manny Pacquiao’s planned November 10 bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas is definitely on.

Arum who met with Pacquiao in General Santos City they discussed the scheduled November 10 fight and that they would likely announce who his opponent will be.

Arum had submitted three options for Pacquiao to study before making a decision. The first was a rematch with Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley who captured Pacquiao’s WBO welterweight title in a split decision that was condemned around the world. [Click Here To Read More]

Marquez 4 it sounds like. If they believe Bradley won't bring the cheddar & Cotto doesn't have to tale it dry from top rank no more. I personally don't see how anyone wouldn't want to see the Bradley rematch, but oh well.

I don't understand why it would be Marquez instead of Bradley. What was the point of robbing Pac in the first place if you aren't having a rematch? Is Pac retiring after his next fight?

I would rather see Bradley fight Pac again. I don't care to see another Marquez/Pac fight. I like Pac, but I think he's done.

Hopefully Pac scores a ko on JMM and paves the way to a Floyd showdown then a ride into the sunset

It'll be funny if its not JMM. Marquez been sitting around waiting around for this guy all obsessed with Pacquiao. Either way its safe to say it wont be a new opponent, just a recycled name.
