Both are opinion-based [an 'idea'/notion], the point is that boxingscene constantly goes against the grain to play up the Pacquaio illusion. BS has some very incompetent writers for sure.

It was much more clear that Floyd beat Cotto though. It wasn't totally clear that Manny was the FOTD.

Arum is using money to avoid another Bradley fight. Pac likely wanted to avenge his loss but Arum convinced him that fighting Cotto at 150 would be a more lucrative option and put him in line or a Mayweather fight.

It will be yet another comparison between the two guys: Pac beat down Cotto at 145 but Cotto was drained. Floyd looked less than invincible against Cotto at 154, so if Pac can beat Cotto down again at 150, it'll show how much better Pac is than Floyd.

That is likely how Arum spun it to Pac....Tim is in place to take over as top dog for Arum, he knows that Chavez jr can't make it at 168 and Martinez will end his ride on the 15th.

Easy. Bob Arum now has two cash cows to work with. Even though a lot of people believe Bradley lost the fight he gained a great amount of exposure.

Bob Arum can match him up against some stiff, it won't sell millions but it will make him money none the less. He can match Pacquiao up against Marquez and when Pacquiao wins ( by robbery if necessary) match him up against Bradley.

Bradley was fighting solid opposition on the regular, until he got with TR (remember the Casamayor fight?). I hope that Bradley is prepared to jump ship when the opportunity arises, cuz fighting stiffs/over-matched opponents is definitely not a likeable quality. Bradley is too far along in his career to be fighting bums. If Arum means well, he'll match Bradley with the Alexander/Bailey winner or a contender like Brook.
