Mayweather vs Martinez would be much more interesting.

It'll still be a box office attraction, but I think it'll be a much less exciting fight than most would expect. I agree it should've happened years ago, but even then I don't think based on styles it would live up to the hype.

IMO I believe it should of happened in 2010 when Emmanuel came off a great win against Cotto and Floyd's dominant win over Marquez. I'm not as excited about the fight then was 2-3 years ago but If it does happen I'll tune in. In essence I feel it's a shame cause the two greatest fighters of their generation (at 2009-10) never fought kinda like Ali never fighting Frazier or the Fab Four never fighting each other and so on. Your Thoughts?
for die hard boxing fans, not so much. for casual fans, I'm sure it will be.

its past its sell by date dunn. people used to watch a mayweather fight and then they would say he would beat pacquiao. then people would watch a pacquiao fight and say he would beat mayweather. now you watch a pacquiao fight and you would think mayweather would beat him. pac isnt as raw as he used to be.

still want to see it, but it would have been a much better fight when it was supposed to happen.

Respect your opinion but the delay, while it lowers boxing fans exectations because niether is at the height, may make the fight better, as it did with may/cotto.

IMO, if Mayweather beats manny easy now, he was gonna beat him then, just in a different way. May/cotto again, while it was exciting, was a 9-3 fight, which isn't really close, but some of the rounds were.

Always thought floyd boxes circles around Manny. I dont know that floyd can move like that anymore.

But the hype w/ Mayweather vs Pacquiao will far exceed Mayweather Cotto which anything less than what Mayweather vs Cotto was in the ring will be a huge let down considering how long this fight has been on the shelf for. Casual fans I think will be expecting a barn burner but will more that likely be given a some what decent fight. Big at the box office, borderline stinker in the ring is how I see it playing out.
