Has your Enthusiasm Changed for Mayweather-Pacquiao?

    Adding Poll

IMO I believe it should of happened in 2010 when Emmanuel came off a great win against Cotto and Floyd's dominant win over Marquez. I'm not as excited about the fight then was 2-3 years ago but If it does happen I'll tune in. In essence I feel it's a shame cause the two greatest fighters of their generation (at 2009-10) never fought kinda like Ali never fighting Frazier or the Fab Four never fighting each other and so on. I agree. They let it sit to long. Both of them are past their best now, and the fight isn't really interesting any more, especially since Manny is going down hill much faster than Floyd.

Back in 2010 I had reason to believe either man could win, now I just see a boring win for Mayweather. Sorry but I think Pacquiao should retire. He doesn't have the fire anymore and I'm sick of hearing Roach say "Pacquiao knows he needs to be impressive" only to give a subpar performance.

If the fight happens I'll buy it, but it'd be like sleeping with a girl you had a crush on in high school who's gone down hill. You just gotta do for that little kid inside you. It probably wont be as good as you had hoped for, and it's not nearly as pretty as it would have been back in the day, but if you got the opportunity why not.

I agree with both of your statements, 2009-10 was the right time when it peaked because at that time, it was the most competitive match-up in boxing. Now there's more interesting match-ups to be made. Now it's more of 'who has more left' type scenario it's a shame. :-(

Most all ....No, all Mayweather fights are boring snooze fest. For me Manny is the only fighter that can bring that excitement to the table when Floyd is involved. But it wont ever happen because of Floyds best quality.... ducking dangerous opponents. Can care less, really. I already know Manny will **** Floyd in the ring...and not like Floydie would like either! So if it happens good, if not...oh well! Its a win win for Manny because the world and the boxing experts know Floyd IS sacred to fight Manny!

I feel the same way. It should have happened two years ago when they looked really good. Lately, neither of them have looked at their best. Now their is an excuse that neither one of them is in their prime if one loses the fight. It might as well not even happen, just like Tyson vs Holmes shouldn't have happened and Tyson vs Lewis shouldn't have happened.

You're a hater if you think every one of Mayweathers fights have been boring.

If the fight was announced today with a set day I would be amped. I'm not even gonna lie.

I'm just sick of the pointless press releases, the negotiations and repetitive "pac tard" and "flo mo" arguments.
