No, I wasn't talking about being ranked higher or lower. Im talking about the so called streaks MJ mentioned. You can't compare Donaire's opposition to Marquez's...

Marquez has taken way better opposition back to back to back. While Donaire fights a real opponent in 2-3 year intervals. Can't compare Donaire's resume to Marquez's either... not even close.

If Katsidis and Diaz went on to do good things after he fought them, then it would make sense. They weren't much before he fought them, and they didn't amount to much after he fought them lol. Losing to Pac twice and Floyd makes his resume better (just talking about the past 4 years)?

I haven't had him out of my top 3 for years now, and after the way he fought against Pacquiao in the third fight I am baffled that people don't have him automatically in the top 3. He has a case for the second spot.

Because Martinez is beating undefeated guys or nearly undefeated guys and by KO, his next fight will be no different. I have JMM in my top 5 p4p but Martinez is ahead of him at this moment......how people can discredit Martinez is beyond me, he is the type of fighter that can bring boxing back into the limelight.

he's a good fighter and better than Donaire but he doesn't have the quality opponents in his division for him to prove it.

Even still Marquez has much more to his game than Martinez

              Compare opposition homie.
JMM 4-1 2 ko's with Fendchenko and Ramos being merely tuneups

              Donaire 5-0 2 ko's

              Martinez 5-0 4 ko's

With the Pavlik/Williams and Montiel wins being better then any W JMM was able to muster in that same stretch

JMM is one of my all-time favorite boxers and skill-wise, I'd say he is better than Martinez but he should go after the other top fighters out there now instead of chasing another Pac fight. He should bust up on Garcia or Khan, I would love those fights instead of another Pac fight.

I really wish that Broner and JMM were in the same class so that JMM could end dude's career.

I have him at #2 behind Floyd, Martinez right at 3 and Ward and Bradley filling out the rest of the top 5. Donaire is an overrated ducker, who's best wins are tiny dudes.

I hate the whole idea of Pound4Pound, but Martinez has been knocking out every opponent in front of him for the past 2 years. And outside of Darren Barker, they've all been world class fighters.

Donaire hasn't been as impressive, but he is the only person to ever stop Montiel and so far, he's the only person to knock down Vasquez Jr. and Mathebula...

Outside of the close loss to Pac(which many people consider a win) he hasn't done anything the last two years...Just taken a bunch of tune ups. Even his win against Katsidis doesn't look impressive after seeing him lose to Ricky Burns and Albert Mensah.
