prime to prime, its a tough call.. mayweather is too good at his prime at welter, while cotto's resume says hes better.. cotto was very effective at welter before. but im really pickin floyd at 147 prime to prime for a UD. the floyd that fought oscar at 154, would've been a tougher fight for cotto at 154..

Cotto didn't say that dude, As u can tell by now cotto is a fearless warrior who is willing to take on all comers. He even wants a rematch with manny pacquiao. Floyd was the one who said that and alot of african american tend to just repeat what he says, why? I don't know. He talks about how pacquiao is on steroids that he came out of nowhere. History lesson

pac 16 yrs old pro boxer 106 pds fmj 16 yrs old 106 pds amatur
pac 19 yrs 112 pds wrld champ fmj 21 yrs old 130 pds champ
pac 22 yrs 122 pds wrld champ fmj 25 yrs old 135 pds champ

the only difference was pacquiao was mal nurished and was fighting in order to eat

I think I had it 4 rounds for Cotto. He lost but like Max Kellerman said most the rounds he lost he was very much in and a couple more punches landed or thrown the fight could have been much closer or even gone the other way.

pacquiao actually became a world champ before floyd. But at a weight class that not to many people at the States pay attention to.

Prime Floyd vs Prime Cotto? Prime Floyd hands down. Dude was super fast and accurate and he was ALWAYS mobile. The Floyd now isn't as accurate. He def not as fast as he used to be. His timing is better(which is a very good thing for him). He is no longer mobile as well.
