I like Bradley, one of my favorite fighters, but he lost 8-4 in that fight, on my card at least. There's no way someone could have had Bradley winning, that's why it was a mind f**k when 2 judges did. It wasn't as bad Rios-Abril though, where I thought Abril won 11-12 rounds so clearly.Comment

It's their attributes that have faded. Floyd has always been considered the more skilled fighter, but now that they're out of their prime (Pac more-so than Floyd), the fight would depend much more on skill level. Pac won't have the speed (affecting his foot-work and power) and the stamina (ability to fight 3 minutes of each round) to be as competitive as he would need to be to take the fight away from Floyd. I agree that it is still a legacy fight of big proportions to the paying majority, but it's an after-thought imho.I think the only reason he's been underwhelming has been his opposition lately. He looked great and dominant beating Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley. Marquez, though I thought he'd kill Marquez at 144 as well, just knows how to fight Pacquiao. It's a style nightmare for Manny, always will be. And Bradley, he's not just going to stand straight in front of you, the way Clottey and Margarito did the whole time, and he's not going to just run away the way Mosley did for 9 rounds.
Pacquiao and Floyd are about the same they were in 2010 skill wise. It's not the Fight of the Century it was in 2010, but it's still as big as Leonard-Hagler was. People forget they weren't prime either when that fight happened, and it was still a major legacy fight for Leonard and a massive fight.Last edited by kiaba360; 08-09-2012, 11:34 AM.Comment

I respect that, but don't agree with it..Funny enough there were people in the crowd screaming and the new before the cards was read...I have no problem with anyone seeing the fight for Manny..But 9-3 11-1 are ****** scores imo,it damn sure was not what I seen in that fight...I had it 7-5 Bradley..He controlled the pace the distance and made Pac ineffective imo...But to each their own my man...I like Bradley, one of my favorite fighters, but he lost 8-4 in that fight, on my card at least. In my opinion, Pac hasn't been prime since 2009. Floyd hasn't been prime since 2007. Both are past their prime-still good right now. When Leonard-Hagler happened in 87', Leonard hadn't been prime to me since 1982 or maybe 1984 if you count when he came back briefly. Hagler hadn't been prime since 1984/1985 or so to me.It's their attributes that have faded. Floyd has always been considered the more skilled fighter, but now that they're out of their prime (Pac more-so than Floyd), the fight would depend much more on skill level. Pac's stamina has been the only thing I see that faded a bit since 2010 or so. The Marquez fight killed the "Manny has improved so much since 2008" theory, but the Bradley fight killed the "Manny is done" theory to me as well. He should have a comfortable decision over a Top 10 P4P and unbeaten fighter, who is one of the best around his weight. I hope the fight comes off in 2013. It's still a huge fight right now.Last edited by 4Corners; 08-09-2012, 11:37 AM.Comment
