team Oostuizen have done the right thing here. Froch would have cleaned his clock, just as George Groves will in time. Froch should give Stieglitz a good hiding while Oostuizen should be sounding out Brian Magee or Stieglitz. No boxer is a coward, but Stieglitz does tend to pick & choose. Kessler & Pavlic are also good options. When's Degale fighting next?Comment

Perhaps the negotiations were to save face so it didnt look like Tommy had to say "im not ready yet". I guess the proof will be in the selection of his next opponent. If he fights a no hoper, then we know this was just a face saving exercise but if he fights a real live opponent, then perhaps it was simply the wrong terms for Tommy and he had better options elsewhere.
I would love to see Pavlik beaten sober, but someone already made a great point I hadnt thought of, that Arum might be saving Pavlik for Chavez's 168 party if Martinez flattens him.
