Did you see the John fight? I heard it was a fair result? I never saw it though. Would welcome views from people who did.

OK, now three different posters have claimed that Marquez was robbed against Chris John. I remember when this fight happened (I never saw it) but there were no complaints & the press seemed ok with the result.

Where are all these robbery claims coming from? Did people see it or are just saying it? I'd love to hear more.

I'm not saying it WASN'T a robbery. Just that I've never heard this accusation before. And then suddenly THREE people on one thread claim it.

          Anyone?

Marquez to me landed the more solid shot. But a close fight.

He did indeed retire on the undercard of Bradley-Alexander, but then was supposed to fight Steve Forbes this year in CA somewhere but he didn't pass the physical examination so the fight got canked.

I think he was robbed against John and borderline robbed in PAC 3. But it was my futile attempt to stir the pot

I was just going to enter the same name. I think he must has bad decisons on at least 15 0r more fights. Many of his early losses were not losses, but hometown decisions and outright robbery.
