no. smart plan is to let GBP build him up. like TR did ODH and Floyd, then leave when you are at the top. Broner shifting to TMT right now is a ****** business move.

Floyd improved on ODH's model and the next guys (Canelo, Broner, Chavez) can improve on that.

just watch when one of their fighters becomes disgruntled

just wait when their shows sans Mayweather do not do as expected
i dont think anyone should be naive enough to believe any of that. anyone who makes sense anyways. they may become a good promotional outfit, but they will suffer from the same exact promblems as the others along the way

good point. fightyers aren't gonna stay if they are getting pimped outta their money. ANd TMT may find it tougher because they have more US fighters that are gonna expect floyd/manny money.

haymon goes on both. if he is indeed behind the scenes at TMT as many suspect, hbo and showtime will both dance to his tune

Of course he will. I can't remember a fighter that worshiped another fighter as much as Broner does Floyd. Floyd choked Ortiz so Broner must copy him and choke his opponent at the weigh in. Unbelievable.

bro have you seen all the clown ass **** people are putting on here of late about this?

it's highly comical. Even this thread is comical. People just think Broner will just leave GBP or that somehow someway Mayweather will rescue Broner from them

Unless TMT will magically increase HBO's budget, there's nothing that changes in the U.S. boxing industry.

Percentage of revenue for U.S. fighters and promoters comes 80-90% from premium networks.

                  what people do not realize

while yes the preception is that promoters and managers take money off of these fighters is true the vast majority of fighters there people have do not make them any money at all

in fact it's not until you get a fighter into contender status that a manager or promoter break even on that fighter

and that applies to all of them, Haymon, Mayweather Promotions, and eventually TMT

no question. they really don't know how the behind the scenes business affects what you see on TV.

spent some quality time with a friend at GBP and he was telling me how fights that fans get mad at for not happening usually are the fights that GBP suggests only to be stopped by

                      1. overly cautious managers/trainers
                      2. overly greedy managers/trainers
                      3. greedy fighters who want ____ for a bum yet when offered ___ for a real test it's not enough money

just think about fights you wished happen and didn't

bet you they've been discussed at the very least on a surface level
