They might just hate them, because they want their "Tyson" type fighters back and all the aura of that era and of course for them they are the big bad Evil russians from Rocky IV, so they need an American HW to restore everything at how it was then.
I agree. I'm just pointing out how ridiculous it actually is, when you think about it. If people love "winning", and they'll love Ward....but can't love the Klitschko's.....the whole "they're boring" thing gets thrown out of the window, and it becomes pretty pathetic. The term "haters" is the only way to describe it.

Valdez did more than Ponce De Leon in their respective amateur careers, De Leon was out in his first fight of the Olympics... fact!

              Yeah there's a double standard.

Just Imagine if Wladimir was American, and the boyfriend of that actress from Heroes.

But hey the Klitschkos don't need them they are banking at Europe and they love them over there.

if he was smart he will sign with top rank or golden boy. Proven promotional company. All I can see will be the benefit with signing with TMT is you might be promised tv time on floyd undercard thats it, but floyd gonna retire soon and then what?

everything people saying TMT can do is "WHAT IF's" nothing is fact. TMT can bring in the younger demographic but in reality they can not. They will only bring in the "BET" crowd. Which will only be casual fans and will basically only watch when a Mayweather type or Broner type will fight, other then that they wont watch. What are they going to do start promoting fights like semi mini concerts and have rap artist and such perform pior to the fights? if so easy formula to copy and imagine if oscar gets someone like Vicente Fernandez perform it will be practically game over.

Also saying that you will not want them with GBP and rather see them with TMT cause they dont know how to manage their fighters properly. I think is just a ignorant thing to say, TMT has not even promoted one fight yet you automatically assume they will do better. Like I said everything people say about TMT is "WHAT IF's" and when your livelihood and career is on the line you don't gamble it on "WHAT IF's" no matter what. This is what makes me think TMT is promising fighters alot of things, what other incentive will they have to sign to a unproven entity.

I live in Mexico City, and trust me, if 50 Cent came next week at the Auditorio Nacional, he will sell out, or any other place.

Vicente Fernandez is more for Mexican Americans that missed "un pedacito de México", or middle-aged Mexicans, just imagine people in Mexico seeing Valdez with 50 at his side, they will go crazy, many foreign artist and groups came here all the time, and they always sell out, Foro Sol, Auditorio, Palacio de los Deportes and now La Nueva Arena Ciudad de México.

So at least in Mexico having 50 cent at his side will give him more pull, with the casuals, having an International star will give him more "cache" with those casuals that snub boxing, and they will get in the bandwagon, you know how some mexicans are malinchistas.

And he doesn't lose anything being a TMT fighter, he can always go out just like Jesse Vargas abandoned Floyd...

                      So it's worth the gamble.
