I may be in the minority, but I think Tszyu vs Judah was an EARLY STOPPAGE.....

Watching from outside the ring, fans can come up with all of the right answers. But in that square circle, you don't know how you will react.
Everyone wont be calm, cool and collected after being put down with a monster shot. Judah got up went down, got up wobbly from a hellacious shot.
Still Nady owed him an 8 count. Berbick being a veteran boxer and champion was flopping around the ring like a fish out of water and Mills Lane counted, and gave Berbick every chance to survive.
If a ref starts a count, he should finish his count unless the fighter looks out, truly hurt or totally unable to continue. You give yourself room to judge the fighter.Comment

So youre saying, that with a minute to rest, there is no way Judah could have continued?
I even said in my first post, that Judah would have probably been KO'd in the 3rd, but the fact that it was a HUGE fight at the time, and it was a CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT, with the round already being over, Judah should have been allowed to go back to his corner and come back in the 3rd.Comment

Who said he didnt get caught, and get "waxed"? As a matter of fact, I said that Judah would have went on to get knocked out in the 3rd, but that the stoppage was early, and he should have been given the benefit of the doubt due to it being a HUGE CHAMPIONSHIP fight. Plus the round was over, and he would have had a minute to recover.Comment

The round was over, and Nady stopped the count at 4. How is stopping at 4 not an early stoppage? Was Zab not coherent enough to argue his point immediately after the stoppage?
Why not give him the benefit of the doubt, and let him go on to the 3rd round?Comment

Because a flash knock down doesn't affect your legs. A flash knock down doesn't scramble your brain and body to the point that you flop about the ring. Without Nady grabbing him he would have gone down a third time too.
A flash knock down is when a guy gets put off their feet because they are not warm. Doesn't hurt them, doesn't scramble their brain or legs. They get put down, get straight back up without any ill effects to their body or mind and fight on as if nothing happened.
Judah got nailed with a good shot. If he had stayed down he would have been fine maybe. He chose to jump up and fall about all over the place.
The other thing people forget is that it was probably his eyes and the way he was pointing at Nady while one eye was probably rolled back in his head and the other looking back down at the ground that really made Nady jump in to stop it. His eyes would have looked like he'd just been hit over the head with a sledge hammer and all over the shop.Comment
