what are you guys talkin about? there is no rule that you have to stop a fight because a guy goes down twice. People talk all the time about your eqallibirum being off. Refs dont just stop fights for falling twice because they know some guys may get up too early which will cause them to fall.

I also dont get all the jokes people keep making about these other fights that were clear devestating KO's. The fact is Zab was clear minded immediatly after the 2nd fall. If the ref had stayed with the count then the fight wouldve continued but he immediatly waved it off.

It was clearly a premature stoppage IMO. Again, there is no falling down rule. You see that alot in boxing. Yall acting like youve never seen that before. On top of that, this knock down was nothing compared to Berbick or Griffin. Those guys were hurt bad. Zab just got up too quick. Zab was ok as soon as it was waved off. Those guys were still out of it

      Stop with the examples/comparisons.

Nady was on his way, but he lasted 2 minutes. BWP

      "Nady prematurely ejacutated"!

I actually checked the referee rules and guidelines from the association of boxing commissions and this is what it says :

        21. BOXER DOWN AGAIN WITHOUT RECIEIVNG ANOTHER BLOW
If as a result of a legal blow a boxer is knocked down and during the mandatory count, he goes down again without receiving another blow, the Referee should continue the count (unless the boxer is obviously hurt and needs immediate medical attention).

So that automatic stoppage rule is a myth BUT Zab was obviously badly hurt and the stoppage was appropriate.

But there are a couple of things that bother me with the stoppage.

1st - It was the very end of the round, and Judah would have had a minute to recover.

2nd - Although Judah fell, and was wobbly, he clearly had his wits, and knew what was going on. His body didnt immediately respond to what his head was thinking, but I think he was NEARLY clear headed.

3rd - Once Nady saw Judah fall, he immediately waved the fight off, instead of giving Judah the benefit of the doubt IN A CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT. Judah jumped right back up after he fell back down, and was clear headed enough to argue his point that the fight shouldnt have been stopped.

I just wish we could have seen more of that fight, and what would have happened with Judah getting the 1 minute of recovery time.

Judah CLEARLY dominated the 1st round, and Tszyu clearly dominated the 2nd round. I would have liked to see the fight go on just a little bit more.
He was walking like a stumbling drunk good call by the ref

Had Judah stayed down to clear his head and gotten up around the count of 8, he would have survived the round, but he was Zab Judah being Zab Judah and thus messed it up.

I don't think he was in any grave danger though, might as well have let him try to get up and stay up in his own power within 10 seconds, that's what the count is for. Nady has been quick to call them from what I recall though, doesn't affect his payday as he gets the same amount of money for a short day's work.

They used to lift boxers up from being knocked out cold and send them back out for another round, sometimes allowing for near miraculous comebacks. Not that such practise would make any sense today and considering Judah's reputation he was probably on his way to losing the fight anyway. Still, I'd prefer to see the big fights go to the limit.

Judah Kostya...Nady stopped his count at 3 or 4

Mills Lane in Berbick Tyson kept his count going.

                Lane much > than Nady

why are people saying he was badly hurt? he got flash knocked down and got up way to fast to give his legs a chance to recover. he literally got knocked down and jumped right back up so his legs weren’t that strong and thats why he chickened danced and fell again. if he would have waited about 4 or 5 seconds then got up he would have been fine enough to continue.

Judah got caught, got up and said, "Nady don't stop the fight(in his Handy Man voice) duuuuuuuh which way did he go"!

he shouldve given judah a 10 count. but judah was ****** enough to stand when his head wasnt clear yet.. he shouldve taken his time. he was in great shape for that fight and couldve recovered regardless Tszyu would beat him in less than 5.. It was not a premature stoppage due to how judah look.
