Roy was the master of the uppercut. He threw lead uppercuts without a jab first, and often used to include them in lightning fast combos, off of each hand too.
His knockout of Montell Griffin was awesome, aswell as his knockout of Vinny Paz, that included 3 uppercuts from both hands in a 6 punch combo whilst walking forward. It has to be one of the greatest knockouts ever, due to his positioning etc.
Who else could throw 3 uppercuts in a 6 punch combo, off of each hand?
That was sweet, my boy Pascal was on ***** street but he does have the ability to recover very quickly though.[/QUOTE]
Yea Pascals pretty good with those leaping in combos, but even tho he lost i taught this fight showed how good Chad is, for the minute and a half he actually tried in the last round i taught it was evident he could knock pascal out whenever he wanted, dont think he knew it tho
Kid Gavalin used the upper cut from the outside position which is very dangerous to do but he was very good at it. Known as the "bolo" punch the Kid was a fearless fighter, win or lose you were in a fight when he stepped in the ring. Ray.
