these are the guys they give us and we accept it. holmes told us long ago about the drunk. he holds his head down and can't look a fighter in the face because he is drunk and buy the way connected. he has so much to offer. the lampley / other guys stuff is old. we need new blood as far as commentators.

I loved watching Mike Tyson rip Teddy last night in his "Undisputed" Broadway show.

He called Teddy a "fake gangster from Staten Island."

I was at the show last night also. Good show. Interesting how he clarified that Teddy Atlas gun story by stating that he was only 15 when it happened. Also interesting how he said that he hasn't talked to him since.

Atlas needs to quit talking every second the fight is going on. Maybe that's why he needs to clear his throat so often. Someone he listens to needs to tell him it's ok to be quiet now and then. He acts like he is being paid by the word.

Teddy has his shortcomings but all in all he is good for the sport. He stands up for a boxing commision. He stands up against bad decisions. In general, he's a good guy to have around for the sport.

I don't know if Lampley is a gigantic biased doucher on purpose of if HBO tells them to sway towards the house fighter, I mean the way they call fights is almost unbearable now. Lampley is the worst, he calls shots of the fighter he likes and literally ignores the other fighter when he lands.

Yeah that's a good point. I'm sure HBO encourages it...as it's in their benefit to turn casual viewers into fans of fighters, since more fans means more PPV buys.
