I just watched Gesta's last fight and I was honestly disappointed. Gesta had shown small improvement in his previous fights but against Barnett, was swinging wildly, fought with his hands down, didn't move his head and etc. Gesta either needs to get a new trainer or should step up already because he's developing too slowly and obviously is undisciplined.Comment

I really don't see where all this Broner confidence is coming from. He's been on a tear against feathers and B- class Jr lights. He quit training for his last fight, came in overweight, lost his paper title on the scales and people will still bet the house on him. Why? Gesta can beat up on B- jr lights too. That's no big deal.Comment

i think mercito would be competitive against broner, but he was getting hit too easily yesterday by his opponent...... and that guy wasn't nearly as fast as broner and doesn't hit as hard neither.....
so, in order for mercito to be real competitive in that fight, he's going to have to work on his defense, head movement, and work off a real jab, he had non yesterday and it would've set up his shots a lot better and he might of had old boy out of there a hell of a lot sooner.........!
defense is paramount as well as timing.......Comment

If Broner fought Gesta, everyone will say Gesta sucks once Broner beats him. God Broner would f**k Gesta up, badly.
I'd rather see Broner fight someone like Bogere or even Beltran before Gesta, at least they're in the Top 10.Comment

Who would want to fight Broner til he proves he can make weight. It's no good training to make weight if your opponent is allowed to come in two weight classes higher.Comment
